Cleaning is the process of mechanically deep cleaning existing floors, using either a brush or pad alongside specialised chemicals.

Sealing is the application of a protective sealant used to seal the tiles against staining and weathering. This can sometimes require the removal of previous sealing agents, before reapplication.

During this process, we polish existing tiles to enhance or restore their natural shine.

We use various methods, including re-polishing, re-honing (sanding), epoxy filling of cracks and holes and re-grouting to restore existing floors to their original condition.

When the height of a tile is different to that of the adjacent tile a ‘lip’ is created, giving the floor an uneven appearance. During the flattening or delipping process, any irregularities are addressed, leaving the floor completely lip-free and virtually seamless. This process can be further enhanced by replacing the grout between the tiles with an epoxy which is then ground flush with the surface. The entire floor is then polished to a glass-like finish, creating the impression that a pane of glass has been placed over the floor.
